How to measure your calf

To find your DuoBoots fit, follow our three simple steps to measuring your calf.


STEP 1

Sit barefoot and place your feet firmly against the floor, making sure your leg is at a 90° angle

STEP 2

Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your calf

STEP 3

Repeat on the other leg, measuring each calf to the nearest 1cm

What foot sizes do your boots and ankle boots come in?

Our boots and ankle boots start at a size EU35 (UK2). Our boots go up to a size EU43 (UK10), and ankle boots go up to a size EU42 (UK9).

Unfortunately we do not offer half sizes, however having a perfect fit on the calf often provides a more secure fit on the foot too.

What calf sizes do your boots come in?

Our boots are made in even sizes, from 30cm to 50cm. Please contact us if you are unsure about your size. If you find you’re between sizes in a particular style, go down a size for the best fit.

What are your delivery charges?

We offer FREE delivery within the UK.

International shipping charges are calculated at the time of checkout.

Will I need to pay customs and import charges?

Goods delivered outside of the E.U. are subject to import duties and taxes, dependent on your in-country import thresholds and tariffs. These are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. In some countries, additional charges may also be applied, such as a handling or administrative fee. These fees are outside of our control and you should check with your local customs office as you will be responsible for these payments.

If you need to return an item, please note that customs duty is not always refundable. This varies depending on your country’s individual regulations. For more information on your country’s import policy, please check with your local customs office.

Returns & Refunds of orders placed before April 22nd 2020

Due to the past owners of DuoBoots closing down, we are unable to offer any returns or refunds for any product purchased from them, namely on or before the 22nd April 2020.

Please contact our friendly Customer Service team to discuss any orders prior to this date, and we will see if we can assist you contact us.

 

Returns & Refunds of orders placed after April 22nd 2020

We offer FREE UK RETURNS using Collect+

We believe woman of all shapes and sizes deserve to wear gorgeous boots and hope you love your new DuoBoots as much as we do, but just in case you’ve changed your mind or need to adjust your sizing then you have 14 days from purchase to log your return request and then send them back to us. 

Returning a product from within the UK

Our UK Collect+ returns service is simple. Complete a return request within 14 days of purchase letting us know you wish to return your item(s). We will issue a FREE returns label.

Within 14 days of logging this refund request, please send your footwear back to us using the return label provided.

Returning an item from outside of the UK

Costs for returning products are the full responsibility of the purchaser, and are non-refundable by DuoBoots, unless you received a faulty or wrongly despatched item.

Please refer to the returns slip included in your order for clear instructions on how to return your order.

We recommend you take insurance and use a shipping provider who can trace your return.

Remember:

You will need a separate label to ship back each pair of our calf fitting boots, or you can combine smaller items into one parcel, up to a maximum size of 60cm x 50 cm x 50cm.

Please retain your receipt provided by the Collect+ drop off store as proof of posting and to track your return.

Please remember to make sure your footwear fits beautifully, we recommend you try them on in carpeted or soft areas, preferably indoors. If the footwear has been worn or damaged (by the dog, whilst doing the school run, running for a bus or dancing till 2am) we reserve the right to reject your return. 

All returned items will undergo a quality check and once your items are deemed perfect, new, unused and in the original packaging. You’ll receive an email from us notifying you of your refund including postage costs or exchanged product delivery. 

Once received, we try to process returns as soon as possible; however, please allow up to 5 working days for your refund to be processed. You will receive confirmation by email once your refund has been made.

We will refund any money owed to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Funds usually take 3 to 5 working days to clear to your account, however please allow up to 10 working days. Your refund will appear on your bank statement as Shopify DuoBoots.

Please note that we do not refund duties and taxes when shipping outside of the UK and returns received after 1pm UK time will be processed the following working day.

How do I update my personal details?

If you have created a DuoBoots account, just click on the SIGN IN link located at the top right hand side of all pages of the website.

Whilst logged into your account you can make any necessary changes to your billing / delivery address, contact telephone number or email address.

I have forgotten my password. How do I log in?

Just click into the ‘SIGN IN’ link located at the top right hand side of the pages of the website, and you will be diverted to the log in page. Click on the ‘Forgotten your password? Reset it here’ link. You will be asked to enter the email address you opened your account with.

An email will then be sent to you with instructions on how to re-set your password.

Please note: if you have purchased with us using a guest account, you would not have been required to select a password. You will need to register with us in order to create an account.

How do I unsubscribe from DuoBoots emails?

You can unsubscribe from DuoBoots emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of each email. You can subscribe again here at any time to receive latest information from DuoBoots.

Like many businesses, DuoBoots has had its ups and downs and back in March, they announced the closure of DuoBoots across their social channels and on the website.

The company had been in administration for a short period of time, and unfortunately given the current global pandemic, were unable to find a buyer to prevent the closure.    

With the increased stress of Covid-19, good news in any form was welcomed with open arms, and for DuoBoots, this came in the form of a buyer. 

So, with that in mind, DuoBoots is back under new ownership and selling beautiful fitting boots again.  

 

Here are some simplified key points we would love for you to know:   

DuoBoots is now a small, privately owned business, managed by a team of Somerset-based individuals.   

Many of you didn’t know how small team DB was before it closed, but we must now point out we are even smaller, you can in fact count us all on one hand.   

We are here to sell a collection of boots that will fit beautifully thanks to our unique 11 options of calf size.  

It is our core belief that every woman deserves boots that both fit beautifully and look fabulous.   

We are very much still a British brand, designed here in the UK and crafted in Portugal using the best European leathers and suedes. We have close relationships with the small number of family-run factories we work with.   

The original DuoBoots values remain.

This doesn’t mean you can’t expect exciting new developments from us as a new company. We’ve streamlined the collection to offer a niche selection of season-less classic styles and are on a mission to go against the traditional fashion cycle.

Look out for limited edition styles and extended fit options for petite, tall, and strong women.

We understand that you want to make the most of your gift card and we are sorry you were unable to before DuoBoots closed in March. Sadly, we are unable to accept old gift cards due to the past owners of DuoBoots closing down.

Whilst we are a new company and we are sure you understand that we have not taken on previous financial responsibilities, we value you as a customer and we are in this together. So, with this in mind we want to help you find a solution.

The pressures of Covid-19 didn’t help DuoBoots before they closed in March.  The warehouse followed government guidelines and closed immediately as requested, this meant some returns may or may not have made it back to the warehouse or to customers.  

Sadly, we do not have access to this information and do not have any returned or old products.  

We understand how disappointing this may be, particularly if you have loved a pair of boots for long time and are waiting for them to be returned to you following a recent repair or polish.   

Whilst we are not able to offer refunds or repairs on behalf of the previous owners, we may be able to put you in touch with a representative who can help.
