Very efficient service. Really well packed. This company has high standards. Purchased as I needed a black leather pair and have used Duo a lot in the past. Slightly disappointed this time - but tight in foot and bit loose in leg but for the good sales value decided to keep.
The boots were lovely and well made . Given 4* because it was too narrow at the ankle for my right foot! Very curious.
The boots are high quality and having struggled for so long with calf fit I love what DUO offer but this time the Verity style wasn’t quite right, as recommended I sized up to 41 cm but these were way too big so I exchanged for 38 cm but I still found the style of the boot at the top made them gape under my knee so had to return. I will probably try a different style sometime!
I loved the boots however, I went out for a whole day, to London West End. The leather was quite hard and after walking for a long several hours I had blisters on my feet near the back and side of ankles as my feet were rubbing against the hard leather. My little toes also had blisters.
The boots are beautiful and well made Calf sizes are good But they either need to do a wide fit on the actual foot width. As they are very narrow, so ok for short wears but not for walking far or long days.
