AustraliaThe quality of these feels unreal, and to have a boot actually fit over my calf is something I never thought I’d experience. Unfortunately the top of the boots fan out quite a bit, like an upside down flare. This was really unflattering and didn’t suit me, so I’ve requested an exchange. I’m really happy with the service so far.
New ZealandTo be honest I expected more for the price. I know these aren't outrageous in terms of shoe pricing but they were certainly the most expensive shoes I've ever purchased. I think perhaps I got one calf size too big, but they're really gapey around the tops of my calves and the ankles really scrunch up which I think makes them look a bit cheap. I still wear them relatively frequently as I've never had boots that weren't incredibly tight on my calves but I'd wear them more if they looked a bit nicer. They're also not particularly comfortable, they fit my feet fine but because of the sort of slippery interior my foot slides around in them and they hurt by the end of the day. I've had them for a year now and worn them off and on (almost weekly in the winter and more like every couple of months in the summer) and the comfort level hasn't improved so I don't think it's a matter of breaking them in. They're also SO loud when you walk anywhere and it's sort of embarrassing, I'd be happier with a softer rubber sole. They're a solid 4 stars for looks when you're standing still, but more like a 2.5 in terms of practicality and wearability.
