Width - the circumference around the ball of your foot. All tall boots come in standard width, if the standard looks a little snug, we suggest sizing up.

Unfortunately I have had to return these boots, not because of the boot itself but because I have thick legs at the ankle and through the leg to the calf. I think the calf would have fit but the lower part of the leg was too small. Disappointed as they felt lovely and the shoe size was spot on.
