United KingdomThis is another beautifully constructed boot, however the red suede is not as bright as I would have liked, I had to check the reciept to see if I really was red. The Freya, I purchased some time back, was produced in a more bold red but that wasn’t suede. This boot seemed to me more burgundy but it is a more subdued red. Infact the red is the same red I have in my Italian coat and dresses. So this is a fashion red. Unfortunately I read the advice about the shoe being a little tight after I ordered. The advice was correct, so I immediately did the exchange from a size 7 calf 47cm to an 8 and 50cm. This will give me the comfort Duo boots provide.The suede is soft, and the stitching is perfect, and despite being a little tight, when I tried them om my mother absolutely loves them. I was happy with the delivery within three working days. Thank you DB for high quality boots at a good price. PS If you make the Dalia in red leather or suede red they will sell out!
United States United KingdomThe boots are so beautiful - the colour is gorgeous and the quality top notch. It was a bit of a squeeze getting into them at first (even though I used their measuring technique and my calves are 1cm smaller than the calf size I picked), however, I know that the suede will relax a little bit and eventually fit to perfection. I've only just tried them on but the boots seem comfortable, less stiff than some of the boots I've tried in the past (which is great), but I'll still wear them at home for a little while before I attempt to wear them outside. I think this is an amazing pair of boots at a reasonable price compared to some of the UK competitors for brown suede boots :)
