I have muscular/athletic calves and have never before found boots that fit my calves properly especially without being bulky through the ankle. United KingdomI wanted to love these boots as I have waited years for Duo to reintroduce a platform boot. To be honest the ‘platform’ is hardly noticeable. The boot is far from elegant and resembled a shapeless ‘welly’ when on. I am exchanging for Freya in the hope they will suit my petite frame, although I am not ‘blown away’ by the style. Fingers crossed they look better on.
United KingdomI've been eye-ing up these boots for 2 years now and finally decided to buy them. They're so incredibly beautiful and look great on. Just gutted to say they were really painful from the first wear! Tonnes of pressure on the heel and ball of the foot with none of the easing promised by the platform sole. I'm really sad because I love them so much but I can't imagine I'll be wearing them very much - certainly not for long days at work or nights on the town as I'd hoped! Would love to see this corrected in future styles because I love the idea of Duo boots, but can't justify making the investment again when they hurt.
