Width - the circumference around the ball of your foot. All tall boots come in standard width, if the standard looks a little snug, we suggest sizing up.

With larger calves it’s very difficult to get long boots zipped up. That’s why I chose Duo Boots. I sized up and I’m glad I did as they’re quite snug. Lovely soft leather and they look great. Very pleased.

I got a size 6, I’d ideally be a 5.5 but these for brilliantly with a thin pair of socks over tights for comfort-the leg length and width is spot on and I’m approx 5’2”. I last bought a pair of Duo boots about 20 years ago for approx £180-big investment back then. Those boots have been cherished and are still beautiful. These are for more regular use. United KingdomUnfortunately I had to return these. I have large calves but I'm not overweight. This means that although the calf size was spot on, I had far too much room around my ankle and foot even though the foot size was correct. As a result the foot was loose in the boot causing friction and rubbing. Sadly my quest for the perfect boots continues.
United KingdomOrdering was easy with the measurement guide. Delivery was great. Fit well in the leg height and heel height is just what I wanted. Fabulous soft leather although feet were hard on first wear but have softened up. The only thing is I upsized to a 6 and normally take a 5 or 5 1/2 and are a little big but as I have a EE width foot I took the 6 for more toe room.i would have given 5 stars if the width fitting had been bigger. Please can you do half sizes and extra wide feet then it would be perfect. But pleased I bought these.
